What Does A Bump On The Buttocks Indicate?

About 5 weeks ago, I slipped and fell down the steps and hit my butt pretty hard. The bruising is gone but now I have a huge bump that looks like it is protruding and drooping. There isn t any pain unless I hit it just right or sometimes when I run. Do I need to go to my doctor or will it go away by itself?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to hematoma. Ice pack application will be helpful for initial 3 days. After that you can apply heat. This will help in easy absorption of hematoma. If there is increasing discomfort and pain then there is need for evacuation of hematoma.
Thanks.
