What Does A Bump On The Right Side Of The Scalp Indicate?

I have had an unexplained bump on the right side of my scalp, have red patches above and below my right eyebrow that feel painful to the touch that are now show signs of blistering. Also, I have two very swollen lymph nodes on the right side of my neck. This has been going on for 2-3 days, with the nodes increasing in size, and the red patches getting larger blister-like bumps. My right eye is beginning to feel irritated as if I had a eyelash in my eye.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due folliculitis.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

You can apply neosporin powder over it locally.

Warm compression may give some relief.

Maintain proper hygiene. Take balanced diet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
