What Does A Burning Sensation Around The Collarbone Indicate?

I am a 47yo black female who is 5 6 and weighs approx. 150lbs. I am a moderately heavy smoker (1 pack every 2-3 days) and I ve been taking adderall xr for 7 years. Almost three years ago I was hospitalized because they said I was having a heart attack. I was released after a week with unspecified muscle spasms in the heart. I m contacting you because for the past several weeks I ve been experiencing an intermittent burning sensation around my left collarbone.

I read carefully your query.
You said you have a history of a heart attack some years ago.
You are a moderate smoker too.
This means that you are at higher risks for developing cardiac disorders.
Anyway not all pains and burns around the heart suggest heart diseases. Muscle spasms, gastric disorders, lungs etc may give similar symptoms.

But just to be sure, you have to do some tests and examinations in time including:
-ECG
-Stress test (if necessary)
-Cardiac ultrasonography
-Complete blood count
-Blood sugar and lipids, etc.

Your health should be evaluated by your doctor, better a cardiologist.
Keep maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and try to quit smoking.
