What Does A Cyst In Ovary Indicate?

I have a 28 mm x 28mm cyst on my left ovary with no free fluid I am 49 and am going through manapause I think I had a scan 12 months ago and there was no cysts on that scan I have now been sent for a blood test for cancer margin Should I be worried I went to the doctor for a problem with my bladder it wont empty and have pressure do there for the past 12 months which they keep saying its an infection

Hu, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Cyst in the ovary can be benign or malignant condition. The nature and appearance of the cyst on ultrasound, and the value of the blood CA-125 levels can predict whether it is benign or malignant.
furTfurther management should be done accordingly. Such a small cyst usually do not cause pressure symptoms on the urinary bladder. There can be associated urinary tract infection also.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly treated.
