What Does A Cyst In The Right Frontal Brain On An MRI Report Indicate?

I have an MRI report of my parents with me. It being a weekend, we cannot find any neurologist to comment on the report. The report mentions that there is a 3.1x3.1x3 cm cist in my mother s right frontal brain. Can you please review the report and let me know what it means?

Thank you for your question on HCM. In my opinion more histroy and more description of cyst is required to give any suggestion. is your symptomatic? Age of your mother? Description of cyst other than size like its appearance, its borders, association with surrounding structure s, calcification or not, wall thickness, liquid content or not etc. All these can help in differtiating benign and malignant lesion. Still in doubt one can go for steriotectic biopsy of the lesion.
