Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently had an ablation procedure( Novasure ) 2 weeks ago. I am due for a follow up appt. in one week. Since I have developed a small cyst on the outer labia. Would you consider this to be serious? It is about the size of a small eraser but painful. Wondering if it related to the procedure and need to see Dr. ASAP.
Hello, This is not likely related to the procedure and most likely not serious. You can get cysts in the vagina or in the Bartholins glands. Use some warm compresses but do not squeeze it. If you are at risk for sexually transmitted infections then you should see a doctor right away. If not just have your doctor check it in a week Regards
