What Does A Fainting Episode In An 8 Year Old Suggest?
My daughter just fainted from sering her laceration. .she was sitting on the counter when she fell back..she was out for 15 seconds before coming to..after 15 min of calm rest with cold wash cloth she says she is tired..she is not hurt in any way and remembers the day date and month. .only thing is..she is tired and wants to take a nap.. How long do we wait until it s ok for her to sleep. .she is 8yrs old

As you explain the situation the most important point is not when you should leave her to sleep but what was the cause of her fainting.It would be better for her to be seen by her doctor just for safety and even more if it repeats
