What Does A Feeling Of Electric Shock In The Left Ear Indicate?

Hello, this afternoon while at work I was standing watching a shoot in a studio. I had a sudden electric shock type feeling in my left ear, followed by a severe sharp pain which lasted just few seconds. Then I had blurred vision on my left eye. A few minutes after I felt numbness on my left hand and felt a little tired. About a half hour later I was on a conference call and I had hard time organizing my sentences and felt a little disoriented. A few minutes later all of these symptoms just went away, and I have felt just fine since then.

Hello,

Since you experienced sudden slurred speech with blurred vision, numbness left side with disorientation it looks like you suffered from sudden neurological problem like Stroke, brain injury, brain tumor.

These medical conditions can be triggered by hypoglycemia, low blood pressure, dehydration, etc.

You are suggested to visit a GP though you do not have any symptoms at present. You need to get clinically examined, get blood tests done to detect DM, BP, Cholesterol levels.

You will have to get CT, MRI, Carotid Ultrasonography, MRA, etc done. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected, you may be treated with medications or surgery.
