What Does A Fibrocalcific Scar Indicate?

Hi Doc i am from Philippines Overseas Workers for almost 16 years in middle east, I know that Ihave fibrocalcific scar since when I was child, I have planning to work in abroad again but my medical resolt is unfit to work, yearly we have medical including xray to renew my labor card I dont have any problem
but here in Philippines when I took my medical always has a problem, my question is the fibrocalcific scar is automatic unfit to work?

Fibrocalcific scar could be due to an old and healed infection in your lung. Most probably it could be due to an old tuberculosis.It’s not an active disease and it’s not contagious. Unfortunately some countries doesn’t allow people with a lesion in their lung to work there.You can talk to authorities regarding the harmless nature of the scar.
