What Does A Flash Of Light In The Field Of Vision Indicate?

Hello, my name is Lynne. I am a 57 year old female. I have a very physical job, I clean houses. Two days ago as I was cleaning up my things to leave a job I started noticing a flash of light in my sight on the right. I thought perhaps I just needed to go home eat well and get a good nights sleep. Here it is three days later and I am still seeing it. Not sure if it is related but I started a Hypertension Medication (Lisinopril 10mg) Sunday night, started seeing the flashes of light Monday evening.............Thoughts??????

Hello,

It appears to be degenerative change in retina, consult retina expert.

Fundus examination may be done and look for hole tear and peripheral detachment in case of peripheral detachment it can be sealed by rays and avoid future detachment.

It can be related to hypertension which can be treated with diet control specially restriction of salt consult treating doctor and may be some of drugs need to be withdrawn.
