What Does A Follicular Study Showing An Ovulation Has Occured Mean?

Hi Dr. We are Planning for Baby since 3 years, done follicular study this month. Report shows RO- No DF WITH FREE FLUID, LO - NO DF WITH POP + . IMPRESION- OVULATION OCCUR. This is on the 13th day of my cycle. Please let me know what does my follicular study say and is that helpful for me to get conceive..

Thanks for writing to HCM

According to the reports ovulation has occurred and ova is available for fertilization.Ovulation is indicated by presence of free fluid in POD and no dominant follicle in either ovaries.
Maximum chances of pregnancy is within 24-48 hours,so you should plan unprotected intercourse within this period(multiple times).
After intercourse female should lie on the bed for at least 15 mins with folded hips so that sperm ascend within the female genital tract.
