General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The location itself is unfortunately a prognosis factor for the lesion recurring after treatment but this does not means that this happens for everyone.

The fact that it started appearing as a wound may also be an issue but again some persons respond quite well to treatment and do not have any complications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
