What Does A Hard Bump Above The Ankle Bone Indicate?

Hi, I have a hard bump on my left fibula above my ankle bone. The bump does not move when I touch it and it feels like a bruise but there is no coloration to it. It is about the size of a cherry and it grow a little in the past 3 days. Should I get this checked out and what could it be.

It could be a bony spur. We have to rule out other causes like cyst or tumor.

Consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan to make a diagnosis.
