Hi my name is Courtney. I am starting to get worried.. I have a hard deep bump on my buttcheek and when I touch it I can feel like an attachment deep inside and I have been watching it for a year now after having my son. Its gotten a little bigger and its bruising and kinda hurts. I don't know what it is and I'm freaking out because I only have Medi-cal and not sure if I can get it covered if it's cancer and has to be removed. Any idea?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. This sounds like possible pylonidal sinus. You should see proctologist and plan furter treatment which may be surgicall in most cases.
