What Does A Hard Lump On The Posterior Pharyngeal Wall Indicate?

I have a hard lump on the posterior pharyngial wall below uvula on left.when I touch it with finger,it feels like bone.but I don t have any pain or discomfort.Also when I wake up from sleep in morning I can see white mucus on the posterior pharyngial wall.what can be the cause of this???

Sometimes a cyst can exist and can be in communication with the throat through small holes. They make mucous and bit by bit may leak out when you are in a particular position. In this case, maybe when you are lying down.
Most of these are benign. I think you would stand to benefit from a review from an ENT specialist. Although it is not creating much trouble for you as of now, it may get infected in the future. It may be a good idea to have it evaluated while it is peaceful, so as to avoid trouble later.
Abnormal lumps and bumps should always be examined by a physician immediately, no matter how benign they appear.
