Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
If someone had a colonostopy operation and had the reverse done and where he is stitched fluids gush out is that normal and what can be the cause of it and he is being taken care of by his wife cleaning up after it etc. I ve never seen so much fluid gush out of his operation like that
Colonoscopy is not an operation at all. It is just putting scopes to see bowels.
Usually, before doing, you would have made to drink a lot of fluids that only will gush out of the body and nothing else, it just cleans the bowels, and it takes 1 to 2 days for the loose motion to subside.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
