What Does A Lesion In The Right Kidney Indicate?

I RECENTLY HAD MRI DONE AN THEY FOUND A 6.5MM LESION ONN MY MID UPPER RIGHT KIDNEY WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THAT. I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT IN MARCH COULD THAT BE THE CAUSE OF IT . I DO HAVE A HISTORY OF KIDNEY STONES . I HAVE HAD PLENTLY OF MRI AND XRAY AN NEVER HAD ANYTHING SHOW UP UNTIL RECENT .
