What Does A Lesion On Kidney Indicate?

I was told I have a 5cm what looks like a lesion on my left kidney. It was found during a CT scan. I have no pain on that side how ever I do have discomfort in the upper right side around my ribs. I have no gall bladder. Was told it has enlarged from previous CT scan which I was never told about the kidney. I had scan for diverticulosis. So all that being said what am I to expect at the Kidney DRs visit? What can they do for me basically? Do I need to really worry about this? Thank-you for your time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you need to visit a doctor in order that he can hear at your lungs. Green mucus may be a sign of respiratory tract infection. You may need to take antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
