What Does A Light Pink Lump On Side Of Tongue Indicate?

Hello I have what I think to be a white light pink little lump on the side of my tongue I am concerned because I read a bit about it and the mind goes a little bit thinking its cancerous when I keep reading its more common that it is a fatty tissue can u please advise

It basically is important while making a diagnosis is how long has it been there and how its growth has been . Size too. So basically arriving at a diagnosis is difficult without knowing all these facts .
But in your case it appears benign , posing no harm.
