What Does A Lipoma On An Arm Displaying Mild Enhancement Indicate?

I had a ct scan with contrast on a lipoma on my right forearm which showed slight enhancement and said whether this is a complex lipoma or Liposarcoma or other subcutaneous soft tissue neoplasm would need excisional biopsy. Does this mean this is likely a cancerous lesion?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello welcome to HCM. Excised swelling will be processed and then go through the structure through microscope. If it comes just lipoma, it is a simple noncancerous (benign) tumour. If it is liposarcoma, then it is cancerous swelling.Hope for the best. My Best wishes with you. Take care.
