Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi doctor, I am 42 years old, 5 feet 11 inches height with 85 kg weight. Done stress test recently for annual checks, completed 4th. stage without any pains but doctor requestd to stop due to some changes in the ecg reading (lower peak). Whats that mean? My doctor said, as long as not pain, no worry. Please comment, thanks.
yes your doctor is right and you need not worry as you were able to complete 4th stage of the stress test which means a brisk walk for 12 mins achieving more than 12-13 mets. its pretty adequate. Regarding the ecg changes (Lower peak) they are probably rate related changes at faster heart rates. If you didn't felt any problem it's all ok need not worry. just remember to maintain a healthy lifestyle and you will be all good.
Good Luck
