What Does A Lump Above The Jawline Indicate?

I have a lump in front of my ear, mostly above jawline, it came suddenly, last two days and is hard and tender to touch. No tooth problems That I am aware of. is this something I should seek immediate attention. is there a home remedy to try to reduce swelling?

Hello,

The possible reason for this issue is salivary gland inflammation involving parotid gland. Home remedy with ice application along with a prescription of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs with your doctor helps.
