What Does A Lump Around The Groin Area Indicate?

Hello I have a lump ( no pus or anything) on my inner thigh ( between my vagina and leg) where no hair really grows. Not active sexually. I had before some kind of hard pimple that i would pop ( yes i know bad idea). Later on , they would heal and fade away. Although this time, it s the bigger , kinda like the size of a lump and when i squeeze it , it just moves around in a way. It is very swollen. I would be so thankful to receive tips or something. Please, i really need help. I don t know if it is a cyst or a lump or etc. Thank you

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be inguinal lymphadenopathy or folliculitis with reactionary lymphadenopathy or boil or herpes simplex infection, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your dermatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
