What Does A Lump Below The Elbow Indicate?

Husband has had lump just below elbow for quite some time. Had enlarged lymph node under same size armpit. Biopsied, benign. Still no reason for enlargement. Could this lump, that no physician seems to be concerned with, be causing something? Infection? Cyst?
