What Does A Lump In The Throat Indicate?

Awoke with a full feeling in throat. I feel a lump now and it seems to go down maybe .0000 when I swallow. I feel full after just a few bites of food. (I'm short and fat and eat the wrong type food). So I know I have to change my diet. I'm wondering if I should try famotidine or omeprazole OTC med

Here are various reasons for a lump in the throat as an inflammatory lesion, tumors or else. As per my knowledge suggests, you must get an upper GI endoscopy with a CT scan done for the final diagnosis and further management.
