What Does A Lump In The Vagina Indicate?

Hi doc, I noticed a lump inside of my vagina months ago and thought it s an inflammation that will go down on its own. Though I never checked it in the hospital but recently, i noticed that the entire opening from inside is blocked. My monthly flowwas supposed to start on the 22nd of this month - November but up until now - 29th Nov., it hasn t come. I am 37 years of age and also notice a lump below my left abdomen close to the bladder. My questions now are: 1. is it the same lump coming down through the vagina or are they two different things? 2. Why is there no opening in my vagina and the delay in my period? 3. Is it harmful to my health and what other consequences can these cause? 4. Finally, what is the remedy because i am scared, no one I told about this has heard it before. I need you to also inbox me as well.Thanks so much for the anticipated answers.

For this, there are few causes and most common is Bartholin's Cyst which Is located midway of the labia, and protrudes into the vagina and may cause discomfort during sexual intercourse. Bartholin's cyst is formed when a Bartholin's gland is blocked, causing a fluid-filled cyst to develop. Bartholin's cyst is not an infection, although it can be caused by an infection, inflammation, or physical blockage (mucus or other impediment) to the Bartholin's ducts (tubes which lead from the glands to the vulva). Second, Infected hair follicle may form small abscess, which can cause a small swelling, but it is associated with redness and throbbing pain. Proper diagnosis requires a proper physical examination of the swelling in question. You might consult a gynecologist who can examine and then decide on the appropriate treatment.
