Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently went to the doctor with symptoms of the flu and strep throat. Both tests were negative and they treated me for both anyways because the symptoms were severe. Now that I m feeling better, I have this lump in my throat that s really uncomfortable. It doesn t hurt, but it is starting to effect my voice when I talk. Should I go to the doctor and get it checked out or will it go away on it s own?
Hi,Since you have not mrntioned that wether, this lump has appeared before infection or after getting better of throat infection. As it can be because of infection or lymph node inflamation , that needs to be evaluated by doctor in person , and then can be treated accordingly. Regards Dr.Maheshwari
