What Does A Lump Inside The Anus Indicate?

Hello Dr. Narasi, I found a pea sized lump right inside my anus and Im terrified. It doesnt hurt, bleed, itch, and no anal discharge. Im regular, not alot of constipation. Dont know how long lumps been there. Im a 50 yr old female. She has referred me to a colo-rectal clinic but I dont know what they are going to do and I cant get in until Feb. 17 th. Does it sound like anal cancer? Painless pea sized rounded lump.
