What Does A Lump Inside The Nostril Indicate?

I have a small bump / lump on the inside of my right nostril. It feels like it had a scab on the head of the bump, but I can't remove it no matter how hard I try. Maybe it's just a very rough head. I had some look at it, since I can't, and she reported seeing the same thing. There is no pain unless I'm picking at it (yes, I know I shouldn't be!!). I can't remember when I first noticed it, but my best guess would be about 4-5 months ago.
