What Does A Lump On Neck Indicate?

Yes, I first felt a lump pea size on tight side of neck. Went to doctor and he gave me antbiotics but did not help. Next were xrays and cat scans and showed a small nodule on lung that is spiculated. Cancer surgeon wants t wait 5 weeks to get another cat scan before he operate. But in mean tme, had to get neckscan as he told me it could by lymphoa, nect cancer, throid cancer. I hear about the results tomorrow. Needless to say, I am terrified. Is there any chance the the pea size on lymph nodes be something else besides cancer. i already had antibiotics. I hope you can give me some hope.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have pea size lymphnode. It can be reactive lymphnode, tuberculosis, lymphoma, cancer anything. Biopsy will give you exact diagnosis. You should wait for biopsy results . Then you should take treatment accordingly.
