Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi i have had a weird lump on my right shoulder for at least 3 probably 4 years now. the size has not changed the only thing is that it is more obvious when i lose weight. no pain, no significant pressure, a bit smaller than a golf ball. any idea as to what it might be?
The most likely possibility of lump on the right shoulder for 4 years without pain or discomfort can be: - soft tissue swelling as lipoma, sebaceous cyst or else - hematoma (if previous history of trauma)
However, clinical examination and soft tissue ultrasound are two best way to diagnose it thoroughly.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
