What Does A Lump On The Arm Indicate?

I have a soft, tender, spongy feeling lump about one inch in diameter, and about one inch below my antecubital area toward the lateral part of my arm. There is no heat or redness, but it is tender to touch. I have been active with my arms lately. Could it be a hematoma or blood clot, or what?

Hi,

I understand your concern.

The lump you feel below your antecubital area could be a lipoma.

As you report to have been active recently, then another explanation is inflammatory processes after intense physical activity.

Apply cold and warm compresses alternating for a couple of days. If no improvement, dermatologist to consult further.
