What Does A Lump On The Back Of The Neck Indicate?

I have a hard lump on the back of my neck slightly to the left side of spine, by my hairline. I have had it for sometime. I often have headaches on the left side of my face as well that has been going on for a few years. I am prone to growth and cysts on my sinus cavity and in the front of my ear. I am curious what this may be.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be a simple lymph node.

Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated.

You can opt for a fine needle biopsy in case of diagnostic confusion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
