What Does A Lump On The Elbow Indicate?

Yesterday I noticed a lump in the crook of the elbow unlike anything I ve experienced. It is about the size of a half dollar, it has a pronounced pulse, and is not painful. However, I have experienced a tender spot further down near the elbow joint for 2 months or more. There is swelling of the entire area now, and there is still the tender spot.
