What Does A Lump On The Forehead Indicate?

Hello, I have a lump on my forehead that has grown over time. When I first noticed it, it was small and not that noticeable. However, recently I have noticed it has grown bigger. People are more noticeable of it and constantly ask what happened to my forehead. I don t have any pain, it feels like bone, and does not move. It is below my hairline on the left side of my forehead. Do you know what this could be and what the causes are?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
It is mostly cyst probably sebaceous cyst which progressively grows in size due to accumulation of sebum. But it needs to be confirmed by inspection and examination of cyst. It is a curable condition by surgical excision. Consult a general surgeon for exact diagnosis and further treatment. Do not squeeze it as it will cause infection of cyst.
I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question
Thanks
