What Does A Lump On The Jawline Indicate?

There s a round shaped mass under my left jawline (I m assuming is the submandibular lymph node) that has a dull pain each time I turn my head down towards it. It s been going on for probably a year or two now. Should I be concerned? I have no other symptoms.
