Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have a little movable lump on the outer side of my knee cap. It s right within the area that slightly protrudes when knees are bended. I noticed on this particular one with the little lump, it protrudes a little more than the other one that does not have the lump, it s not painful but my knee is a little uncomfortable when I bend it. The upper part is also a little inflamed and more so when I stand or walk around a lot. What might this be?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. If you send the picture of the lump then it will be more helpful. Have you taken any x rays. If yes then please send that also. Is the lump hard or soft? Is it movable or fixed. Thanks.
