What Does A Lump On The Left Side Of The Forehead Indicate?

I have a knot on the left side of the front of my head just behind the hair line. It s been there for about 6 months. I thought nothing from it; until I have noticed over the past six - eight months my i have been experienced random speech issues, like saying words wrong, or forgetting words I want to say but can t think of them. It s not consistent, it s happening now daily in general dialogue with discuss work discussions or general talking in with anyone. I have moderate concussions over the past years. I wonder what this could be. Should I see an specialist? Seems like I have been misplacing things more than normal recently.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a swollen lymph node. We have to rule out other possibilities like dermoid. Consult a general surgeon and plan for a fine needle biopsy to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
