What Does A Lump On The Perineum Indicate?

Hi there. Bit embarrassing, but I have noticed in the last few weeks a lump on my perenium, fairly small, and a few centimetres from my anus. Nothing is visible and it can only be felt using my fingers. My anus is quite itchy and I occasionally have blood after passing stools - the kind you would have if torn - recently I spent time in Africa and suffered diorrhea for months afterwards - not sure if related?

Hi, I think it can be piles. Get yourself examined by a surgeon. The exact diagnosis can be made only after examination.It is treatable. So, don't worry too much.
