What Does A Lump On The Soft Palate Indicate?

I found a lump on my right soft palate right behind where my wisdom teeth would have been. I am a denture wearer. Also the upper gum is swollen. I feel pressure in my right sinuses, in front of right ear & right forehead. Occasional dizziness. No speaking, chewing or swallowing difficulty

Hi,

In my opinion, you might be having abscess formation in soft palate.

Since you are wearing dentures, you are prone for injury, inflammation and infection in oral cavity.

So better to consult dentist and get detailed examination of lump.

You may need antibiotic, painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs.

If lump still persist, you may need to do surgical removal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
