What Does A Mole On The Areola Indicate?

I noticed a new mole forming on my areola about 2 months ago. It s smaller than a pencil eraser and isn t painful. It s dark in color and just slightly raised. The only thing that really concerns me is that it just showed up out of the blue. I m not pregnant, nor have I ever been pregnant. Should I be worried?

Yes its a matter of concern. You need a proper evaluation form your physician who will see what type of mole is that. It may be a cancerous lesion even if its not painful or doesn't itch.
