What Does A Painful Black Spot On The Middle Finger Indicate?

Hi! Yesterday I noticed that I have a very small, kind of hard, black dot under my skin, on crook of my middle finger. I was using a pair of gardening shear and noticed pain when squeezing it. That spot is tender to touch and pressure but no redness. Is this anything to worry about and does it need to be removed?

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think it is bleeding under nail and black spot is haematoma.
I think it has traumatic origin.
It will clear up by itself.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
