What Does A Painful Lymph Node In The Groin Area Indicate?
A few days ago I noticed while addressing my trousers I had pain in the lymph node on the right side near my groin. It was painful only to the touch and hard. I have no other fever or pain or urine issues. Yesterday the remaining in the wool lymph nodes began to swell when he came puffy on my right side. They are not tender to the touch like the lip node closest to my groin. Any idea what I am suffering from? I am a 46-year-old male in extremely great health food
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. The commonest causes of lymph node enlargement of recent origin in inguinal that is groin area are as follows: Skin infection in the groin area which can be trivial but still the bacteria travel to the lymph nodes to cause enlargement and further problems. Hence the best way to get a diagnosis is: Clinical evaluation by a General Surgeon, helps to rule out inguinal hernia or any other problems like cyst or a lipoma. Would advise you for Ultrasonography and FNAC of the area to see and confirm. Give you a proper course of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medications. Further management as per the reports.
