What Does A Painful Sore In The Mouth Indicate?

I have a sore in my mouth that is very painful. The sore moved from the left side to the right then from the bottom of my mouth to the top. I also have pain shooting from my mouth to my throat. I am also tired and am eating aspirin to dull the pain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to canker sores.

I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen.

I also recommend to gargle with cool water or suck on ice pops if you have a mouth burn.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
