What Does A Pancreatic Cyst In A CT Scan Indicate?

I have just received a letter from the Consultant I saw about a month ago. He has stated that on he ct scan a small, less than 1cm pancreatic cyst has been found and suggestion of mesenteric panni cultus. I have no symptons. Should I be worried? Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

No. I would however suggest you hear about the possibilities of having an endoscopic ultrasound of the cyst. This will enable core biopsy if it looks suspicious.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
