Hi, my husband has had a rash on his lower leg for about 3yrs .we have went to several Dr and have been prescribed many different creams and nothing has help?.it s red and scabby and itches him alot.and it s not swollen .u think u no what it might be ?.
It could be a pigmented purpuric dermatosis or an eczema. Eczema should be treated with steroid cream whereas steroids are usually not given for pigmented purpuric dermatosis. So, I recommend you to consult your Dermatologist for arriving at a final diagnosis and for initiating the treatment.
