Hello. I am 33 yrs old and my wife is 32 yrs old. We got married 6 months before in Dec 2016. We are not seriously planning to have a baby yet although we had intercourse on an avg 5/6 times a month. One dr. suggested to carry out Torch test to my wife and now it's result is positive. So that dr. has advised her a 3 month tab course followed by retesting. Can you plz guide me abt this?

TORCH is an abbreviation for group of viral diseases (Toxoplasmosis, rubella, cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex). TORCH infection in the mother may lead to serious anomalies in the child. So it is better to avoid pregnancy for minimum period of six months. Continue the antivirals and try to get conceive after six months.
Wishing you good health.
