What Does A Purple Bruise On The Arm Indicate?

I noticed a small, very purple bruise (with a smaller skin tone circle in the middle) on my arm that was not there yesterday. I don t remember anything happening to cause this- but the day before yesterday I was bitten by what felt like chiggars on a walk- this strange spot is different and only on my arm with normal bites mainly on legs, one on stomach. Can you advise?

There is no treatment necessary if there is no pain redness and pus discharge. It may have been caused by unnoticed injury or an insect bite. You can apply ice and antihistaminic cream on it and it will be fine.
