What Does A Purplish Bump On Area Above The Groin Indicate?

Yes I have a pimple type bump on area above groin its reddish purplely in color and hard to the touch a little sore if I press on it but that might be from me sqeezing it witch produced blood only not a whole lot I have this before but it had pus and blood and that went away on its own.

Hi,

The lesion you decribed might be mole....Compound nevocytic nevus or other.
You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Avoid squeezing the lesion as it might become infected with bacterial infection. Take a short course of antibiotic. If it is embarassing, you may go for removal of the lesion. It may be benign,so you may keep it untreated. But, if you feel to remove it, it may be removed by electrocautery, done under local anaesthesia by your dermatologist. I hope you got my answer.
