What Does A Rash In The Groin Area Indicate?

Hi so I have a rash in the crease between my thighs and vagina and it s only really there it s splotchy and doesn t hurt or itch with a few bumps and a couple white heads that might be from razor burn or ingrown hair. I m kinda worried could it be an std? I also work out every day and was wondering if it could be like chafing or something?

Hi,

The symptoms are more consistent with a fungal infection like tinea.

As a first line management, you can apply topical an antifungal like clotrimazole for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
